Youth leaders of over 9,000 mahallas undergo advanced training courses
The training is organized in a remote form. As previously reported, the Presidential Resolution “On measures to radically improve the system of work with youth in mahallas” was adopted, and a new system was launched in the state civil service.
According to the Resolution, the Agency for the Development under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, together with the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Agency for Youth Affairs, was instructed to organize training seminars for Leaders on the essence and ensuring the effective functioning of the new system being introduced.
In order to ensure the implementation of this paragraph, a training seminar (remote) was organized for youth leaders in mahallas on the topic “The essence of the new system being introduced and ensuring its effective functioning”.
The goal is to provide methodological support for the introduction of new management mechanisms for working with youth, the formation of their skills in solving youth problems directly in mahallas by increasing the organizational and legal knowledge of youth leaders.
The opening ceremony of the training seminar was attended by First Deputy Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan K.Kuranbaev, First Deputy Director of the Agency for the Development of Public Service under the President O.Khasanov, Rector of the Academy of Public Administration A.Bekmurodov, Director of the Agency for Youth Affairs A.Sadullaev and more than 10,000 participants represented by senior officials of relevant ministries, organizations and departments, youth leaders in mahallas, media representatives.
In order to ensure the effectiveness of the planned work, training was organized by areas.
During the training seminar, Youth Leaders are provided with information on topics such as:
- the formation of the "Balance of Youth", entering the necessary information about youth into the E-Platforms "Yoshlar Daftari" and "Portal of Youth", the organization of effective work with young people;
- the meaningful organization of the free time of youth in mahallas, the promotion of national folk games and sports among young people, the implementation of projects on five important initiatives, carrying out youth festivals and other cultural and educational events;
- increasing the social activity of young people, stimulating their talents, abilities and initiatives, assisting in finding their place in life;
- education of youth in the spirit of patriotism, as well as ensuring their intellectual and spiritual development;
- carrying out systematic work with young people prone to committing offenses, assisting in the social and pedagogical rehabilitation and adaptation of young people released from penitentiary institutions, as well as those who returned from specialized educational institutions.
The training will last until January 28, 2022.
